The River City Regiment: Marching Band & Colorguard

One of the most competitive ensembles at River City, The River City Regiment spends the majority of their time active throughout the Fall Season. Members in The River City Regiment perform at home football games, community events, and travels across Northern California participating in Fall Field Competitions. Offered as a fall course under Marching Band, The River City Regiment brings in the largest amount of students into the River City Music Program. In the 2024-25 school year, we are slated to have over 100 members for the first time in program history. 

Students wanting to compete with The River City Regiment must complete auditions at Band Camp and must demonstrate satisfactory marching and music technique.

Should students not receive a position on the field or want to compete, they will still participate at all events that aren't related to our field competitions.

Rehearsals are Mondays from 5:00-8:00pm, select Saturdays from 9:00-3:00pm and sectionals designated throughout the week.
